MIA...

Sorry, I have been MIA from blog world… I have been enjoying the stay at home role. Andrew LOVES being home with mommy during the day. He is VERY Mobile and is into everything and climbs on everything. He is crazy about tractors, cars, truck, anything with wheels. He is still dealing with food allergies so he doesn't eat a lot and he only drinks soy milk. Adrianna has been keeping me super busy with school projects, cheer competitions, and basketball games. I LOVE that my girl is playing sports! I enjoy going to all of her games and cheering her on! I even custom ordered Andrew a few Pottsville APACHES shirts that say “Anna’s lil Bro” on the back!

I have been on several interviews and finally landed a new job!! I will begin working at Hewlett Packard in January… which means I will get to be home with my family the whole month of December. I will be able to celebrate Andrew’s first birthday and Christmas without the stress of a new job!

 I will blog more if when things get back to normal... In the mean time, here are a few pictures of the family...

Andrew gettng ready to go vote with mommy!

He still loves his horse and pacifer {which we plan on taking away from him soon}

My friend Dana gave Adrianna an art lesson. She entered this painting in the fair and got 2nd place!

Having lunch @ Mount Magazine Lodge {can you spot the hot pink arm cast?}
Adrianna fell off the neighbor's moped scooter and broke it!

A broke arm doesn't stop Anna from cheering for her boys!

Andrew said MaMa

Andrew just melted my heart today when he said MaMa for the first time! He has been saying DaDa for awhile now. It was perfect timing considering everything that has been happening lately... I needed something to brighten my day! I love my baby boy and my little girl to pieces & can't imagine my life without them!

 To fill you all in… I got a pink slip today! I have been working for Acxiom over 2 years. It was a great setup… I worked from home and my mother watched Andrew during the day. I could visit with him on my lunch breaks or drive over and have lunch with Anna.

I am devastated because I know we need this income yet part of me is relieved that I can stay at home with my babies which I’ve never had the opportunity to do. {Even if only temporarily} I have faith in GOD and I know that everything is going to work out for me and my family!

I am Addicted

I started reading this book and it only took me two days to finish.... It was awesome I couldn't put it down. I don't think I want to see the movie because I am sure my imagination is soo much better! Adrianna is reading it now and she loves it too! She has never read a book that size before so hopefully she will finish it.

Is anybody Home??

Where has the time gone ?? I can’t believe it’s already August… I am getting so behind on my page. Between mommy and me swimming lessons with Andrew, Cheerleading practice with Adrianna, and everything else going on this summer I haven’t found time. My little family keeps me super busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
So much has happened so where do I start… Sigh Adrianna has been practicing her little heart out at Cheer practice for the last few weeks. She was behind since she missed camp to go to New Orleans. I know I shouldn’t have let her miss but we already had planned our vacation! Her 5 years of dancing has paid off…

Did I mention Andrew got his first tooth? We have been long waiting this day for some time now. We thought he would get his first tooth before 6 months but he didn’t until nearly 8! We came home from the grandparent’s house Sunday night and as I laid him down in his bed I noticed a shinny white tooth! Of course he wasn’t too thrilled to show it off! He wouldn’t let me take a picture. He is such a little monkey!

Here is what all he can do at 7 months:

Crawl

Sit Up

Stand

Feed himself

Get away with things using this look

Who can say no to this face

It’s A Boy!! Cassandra had ELI MADISON on July 21st. He is just so darn cute! Too bad they can’t stay small forever. I can’t tell who he looks like he has Ethan’s hair, Kierra’s eyes, Destiny’s lips, and Mackenzie’s tan. He has the best of all of them! Congratulationns!!

TRIP TO GRAND ISLE

We just got back from our vacation in Grand Isle, Louisiana. It was hard to be away from Andrew so long but Adrianna loved having her mom and dad all to her self again. We stayed at Aunt Bennie’s vacation home on the beach. We had a great time hanging out with family and had some amazing meals {compliments of Bennie}! Adrianna’s cousin Mallory was there and they had lots of fun playing on the beach, fishing, riding in the boat, crabbing, and lounging in the hammock! We had a bon fire on the beach and made s’mores. It was so beautiful on the beach and peaceful listening to the waves. It was nice not having to deal with work and all its stress for a week!

We drove to New Orleans on Sunday and went to the Audubon Aquarium. Adrianna thought petting stingrays was so cool! After the aquarium, we rode the trolley to Bourbon Street. This was an experience! Not the best place to take kids. It was really nasty and smelled bad. A guy came up and starting shinning Jeremy’s shoes and wanted $10. Jeremy gave him the money so he would go away. The city is not very safe since Katrina. The highlight of Bourbon Street was people watching because there were some strange people. One guy spray painted him and his guitar silver so when you walked past him he looked like a statue. I was disappointed because I wanted to eat at Emeril's Restaurant but it didn’t open until late that evening so we ate at the French Market instead… It was yummy! I ate my first oyster!

6 months old...

I know we say it over and over again, but our baby is growing up way too fast...

He loves to say "Da Da Da Da Da" and gives kisses all the time. I love how he can see me clear across the room and stare me down until I look right at him and then his face lights up. He gets so excited all the time. He is still a HAPPY baby! He doesn't eat a big variety of food due to his food allergies. {i don't want to risk a break out} He mostly eats green beans, banana and sweet potatoes. We have had to change his formula several times. Hopefully he will out grow this. We just started mommy and me swimming lessons. He LOVES the water!

He is definitely a Clingy baby and wants his mama all the time.

I don't mind...

{I love those two teeth on the bottom...So cute}

 Daddy LOVES his baby boy!

 Andrew & Papa Wells < 3

 4 Generations...

Adrianna LOVES her brother!
She is an AMAZING lil helper and big sister!
I don't know how we would ever do it without her. She changes diapers, makes bottles, feeds him, entertains him and gives him LOTS of kisses!

Memorial Day Weekend

Jeremy, Adrianna, and I got to spend some much needed quality time together.  Andrew stayed with his Aunt Cassandra and his cousins. The 3 of us haven't went out since Andrew was born and it was time. Adrianna has adjusted well to our new addition... I know it's not easy going from an "only child" to having a new baby in the house. She is used to all the attention and now it's usually "Anna, can you bring me a baby wipe?" or "Anna, can you bring me a bottle" I want her to know that we LOVE her and appreciate all her help... Couldn't do this without her and caffeine!

 We ate at Mikes Place in Conway. It is YUMMY! Adrianna thought we were only going to lunch and right back to Aunt Cassandra's house but we surprised her and took her to the Little Rock Zoo. She was so HAPPY!

It rained on and off the whole time but that is how our luck goes. A lot of the animals were inside and didn’t want to come out but at least we got to see the best animal there… The baby gorilla! He is 2 years old and the first gorilla born in Arkansas. He was so adorable! I am not going to lie... that baby gorilla made me miss Andrew. :)

Afterwards, Adrianna went swimming with her cousins. I wished I had some pictures of that but the kids were having too much fun to stop and smile at the camera!

Can you see the baby hugging his mommy

This is the face I get every time I pull out the camera...

5 months old...

I can’t believe my baby is already 5 months old. He laughs all the time and is the happiest little baby.  He can reach for objects, hold his own bottle and eat from a spoon. He is rolling over and grabbing things and putting them in his mouth, no tooth yet, but is definitely teething.  He will be crawling very soon! His favorites are his bouncing horse, his feet, and of course his sister. He loves her so much! When she is in the room his eyes stay right on her. He is such a joy and blessing! I can’t imagine my life without him or Adrianna.

This is how I roll….

We love him to pieces and can't stop kissing him...

Introduction and Birthday Party…

Welcome to the Wells Family Blog! I am Jamie…. I am married to my best friend and have two beautiful children who I LOVE with all my heart! My husband & I both work full time and own a cattle farm so we're extremely busy. We devote all our free time to our children. I try to be the best role model for them as I can and teach them anything is possible with GOD. I LOVE to craft, cook, plan parties, travel to new places, try new things, and just have FUN and ENJOY LIFE!

Since we have CRAZY busy lives I decided to create a BLOG... a virtual journal.  I want to capture everything so when I am older and life slows down I can look back and relive it all. I hope you visit often and leave LOTS of comments! I would LOVE to follow your blog as well!

Adrianna's 9th Birthday

We had Adrianna's party at Tena's gymnastic. It was a blast! She invited 9 friends and they had the entire gym to theirselves. They played on trampolines, tunnels, slides, balls, rings and obstacles.

 We had cake and ice cream

Present Time!!

I had her cake made @ Sugar Shack
It was the most beautiful cake I had ever seen... even the bow was edible!

Birthday Girl!!!

I even joined in on the fun!

Best Friends...

After the party, Jeremy grilled tons of food and two of her friends stayed the night!  (Actually they didn't do too much sleeping!)

 The next morning, we met Meme Trisha for breakfast at IHOP
Adrianna & her BFF Bethany were born on the same day so they both got embrassed when the whole staff came out to sing "Happy Birthday" to them!
{they weren't too mad since they got free ice cream out of the deal}

Andrew just slept through it all!
