Lazy Morning

The kids are on Christmas break…

Jeremy & I are both off work…

and one of the things I've been looking forward to the most

are the laaaaazy mornings!

Lounging in our pj's,

enjoying French Vanilla Coffee

It’s the small things in life ;)

Merry Christmas

On Christmas Eve, we went to candle light service with my dad, step-mother, sister, brother-in-law and nieces & nephews. It was a beautiful service & reinforced the true reason for the season... The birth of JESUS Christ our loving savior.

We got home really late... but were too excited to sleep so instead we cleaned up the house for SANTA and set out cookies and milk. It was the longest night ever!!

I love Christmas mornings... so MAGICAL

Andrew got his BIG NOISY Truck

Andrew's tent... this is where Andrew stays now... we never know he is in the house! He takes all his toys inside and plays for hours!

He usually makes me, Anna & daddy play with him! ;)

I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas!

Santa Baby...

hurry down the chimney tonight...

I am way behind on posting... my printer will not upload my pictures from the memory card any more therefore I have to go to Wal*Mart now URGH

Andrew was so HAPPY to see Santa this year. Nothing like Here
Jeremy & I have been telling him about Santa coming to the house on Christmas Eve, filling our stockings full of toys and candy & leaving presents under the tree.  His eyes light up & he gets the biggest SMILE on his face!

He told Santa that he wanted a truck & car that makes lots of noises
 {he wants to wake up everyone in the house}

Adrianna told Santa she wants Toms, North Face Jacket  & a phone cover.

Santa told them only nice boys and girls get toys!

My niece, Destiny told Santa that all she wanted for Christmas this year was snow.
She seriously is the sweetest girl ever!

Santa made Jeremy tell him what he wanted for Christmas this year too!
I don't think he was prepared for that! LOL

Road Trip

Jeremy won a 2 night get away to Harrison Arkansas that had to be used by January 1st. We decided now would be the perfect time to use it. We all needed a mini vacation. The kids pretty much lived in the pool...

Anna teaching her lil bro to swim

Andrew's favorite thing to do

Andrew rode this little rocking horse in a store and I thought he looked precious!

We went to the Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede & it really is "The Most Fun Place to Eat!" We all enjoyed it even Andrew... He and Adrianna LOVED the horses! It was great fun and the live nativity scene was beautiful!

Christmas Concert

There are 74 students in the 6th grade band this year. This is the largest class in Pottsville history! I have to say that I was amazed at how well they performed. I expected some squeaks and squeals but to my surprise they performed seamlessly! They played 3 songs "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas", "Up On The Housetop" & "Jingle Bells"

Adrianna sat up front but I wasn't able to take any good pics. There were so many people.

Adrianna & Brittney after the concert

Andrew sat still long enough

River Market on ice

We put on our jacket, scarf & gloves and headed to Little Rock to go ice skating. Downtown is  beautiful this time of year with all the Christmas lights! The rink overlooks the Arkansas River. There was Christmas music playing and occasionally a live choir would sing.

We haven't exactly been having winter weather here in Arkansas but Anna & Mallory drank Hot Chocolate anyways.

This was Anna's 1st time ice skating and she did awesome!

I

Anna & Mallory made friends with this little girl.. She is adorable! {reminded me of my little sister with her blond hair and silver teeth} They were holding her hand so she wouldn't fall down. It's funny how they are magnets for little kids.

After Ice skating we walked around the River Market and ate at The Flying Fish... It was wonderful!!! I wanted to eat there when I worked in Little Rock but never had a chance. I recommend the Shrimp Basket it was to die for!

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...

...at the Wells home

It's tradition we can't decorate for Christmas until AFTER Andrew's Birthday so December 7th we pulled

out the Christmas bins, turned on the Christmas music and started the hot cocoa!

Adrianna invited her bestie over to help decorate & baked cookies.

Afterwards we cuddled on the couch and watched "The Grinch"

I love this time of year!

DINO-MITE PARTY

My little cuddle bug turned 3 years old! Here are some pics from his Dinosaur Birthday Party that he had on Saturday. We had the party at Hog Wild Pizza and it was so much fun! The best part there was no clean-up. I highly recommend it.

Anderw has been wanting a yellow dinosaur birthday cake for months. He would be getting ready for school and say "Mom, when will I get my birthday cake.. or we would be driving down the road and he would say "I want a yellow dinosaur birthday cake today." He was SO Excited when he seen his cake! My neighbor Barbara made it for him and he LOVED it!

Finally Finished...

... the last book in the Hunger Games Trilogy and i don't even have words to describe it. i was so obsessed with this book, i could not put it down! i normally don't read this type of book but Suzanne Collins is so talented and had me hooked from the first chapter in the hunger games. However i was a little disappointed in the ending.

Has anyone else read this book?

Happy Thanksgiving

I spent Thanksgiving at Petit Jean with my George Family! The mountain is beautiful this time of year. It was nice to take a break from the virtual www world, just to go offline & chill with the ones I love!

We stayed in a lodge at Rockefeller for 2 nights with 9 kids & 8 adults, It was Awesome! We hiked, played board games, football and spent a lot of time at the Rec Center playing basketball. The food was fabulous! {thanks to Pam, the wonderful host}  I promised my nephew Isaiah that we would hike to the waterfall which we did {in our PJ's} only to find there was no water! LOL

The little ones even hiked with us

Here's our crew minus Andrew

Our lil princess Rachel had to see the castle!
