Tangled up in lights

My beautiful Adrianna

Handed these out to the neighbors - HO HO HO Merry Christmas

Missed Santa but was able to play in his sleigh

Largest Christmas Tree in Arkansas

Lunch with Friends

Catching up on some reading - Christmas Stories
Andrew wanted a party at Hog Wild Too - I told him it would be total chaos
and I wouldn't get a single picture. I even suggested a quiet get away to Mt. Magazine with a few friends... He reminded me that parties were suppose to be total chaos, loud and fun otherwise they would be BORING!! {Guess I never thought about it that way} He ended up having his party and this is the only picture I captured. It was the BEST party & I enjoyed just living in the moment - not worrying about pictures for blog, facebook, etc.

Andrew turns six

Andrew got snow for his Birthday.
We rarely get snow so it was an awesome surprise.
He was a little disappointed because he wanted to go to school and
see his friends. However once we pulled out the sleds he was happy!

We love going to Jeremy's office when it snows because there are big hills
AND we always have the place all to ourselves! Adrianna and Andrew are fearless
and have some ridiculous moves. It was mostly ice so they were flying down the hill.
It was a perfect and beautiful day!

Some of Andrew's favorites...

~ Football
~ Watching looney tunes with his daddy
~ He would love to eat macaroni cheese everyday
~ Cuddling with his daddy & me
~ He loves his friends
~ He loves to do jobs, and is a great little helper
~ He loves hanging out with his sister

He has the most infectious laugh and giggle, I adore his sweet smile!
He is a bit bossy but is a leader amongst his friends, so I guess that is a good thing.
He is very observant and memorizes everything. Out of nowhere, he will repeat a line from a movie or tv show or bust out singing - we all just crack up laughing!

Apache Cheer Christmas Party

Snowflake Pageant

All Adrianna wanted for Christmas this year was to be in the Snowflake Pageant. I was so HAPPY to hear that because she has not participated in a pageant since Kindergarten!

Getting all pretty with Nikki

Formal Wear

Christmas Outfit of Choice

I am so proud - She won prettiest hair, 1st Alternate, and was crowned overall best new comer! After the pageant she was approached about participating in more pageants.

O Christmas Tree

We visited the tree farm in hopes of finding the perfect tree.
I thought it would be more festive with a real tree... A tall, beautiful
Christmas tree that would fill our home with wonderful smells.
We searched high and low but were unsuccessful in pleasing my children.
Andrew looked at me and said "The tree at home is better than any of these".

For the 9th year, I went up in the attic and pulled out
our poor little, artificial tree. At one time it was a pre-lit tree but
the lights no longer work. Adrianna & Andrew happily decorated it
and they think it's the most beautiful tree ever!

****

For every year the Christmas tree,
Brings to us all both joy and glee.
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
Such pleasure do you bring me!

Kindergarten Rodeo

Andrew's first BIG project was to make a stick horse.
His teacher only had one rule - it could not be store bought. Its funny how the moms end up doing all the work for these types of projects but I am not going to lie,
 I LOVE it!

Only wish I was craftier… I can envision it all in my head how I want it to look, the fabrics I want to use, etc. but need someone else to actually make it happen. So I went to hobby lobby to purchase all the materials that we would need and called my mother.

I love that my mom is always there when I need her!
We spent an entire day working on “Bullseye” he has many imperfections but Andrew cherishes him and that is all that matters!

Once you have a stick horse then you
 must have a rodeo!

Andrew made a grand entry as Mrs. Barton told us Bullseye's favorite thing to do was run and kick and he loved to eat germX. I was too busy laughing to get a picture! Then they all lined up to say the pledge of allegiance and sing cowboy songs.

They did a little bull riding

Afterwards we met up at the park to roast hot dogs, make s'mores, sing campfire songs and take a hayride.
