BITS + PIECES OF CHRISTMAS

The largest gingerbread house we've ever seen

Buddy is full of surprises...
He left Adrianna a replacement wallet
since I fell in the ocean and ruined hers.
He cleverly left the Hawaiian water too.
oh how we love when he visits!

Shopping on our last day in paradise...
I can't take these two anywhere!

They HAVE to see Santa every year
It's tradition - I LOVE that they still believe ;)
Christmas is a magical time!

Andrew loves helping in the kitchen.
We kicked off Christmas Season by decorating and making Holiday Pretzel Treats. They are so delicious, I could eat the whole batch. Especially, when you replace the M&M on top with a pecan. {{YUMMY}}

Andrew is so OCD and loves making patterns
which secretly makes me proud!

Adrianna founded Project Hope in honor of Papa Jimmy

She made & delivered goodie bags to the families of loved ones in the ICU at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center on Christmas Day. The Bible tells us in Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

I hope she was able to bring a few
families hope and happiness.

These smiles are my favorite!
Hugs from our family to yours, I hope you're
with people you love tonight.

XOXO

Hawaii ♥

We are local cuisine foodies & this was one of our favorites places on the island. We looked forward to brunch every morning. It was magical like having a tea party. The windows and doors were open so it was breezy & colorful birds would fly inside to steal leftovers.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Hawaii is our happy place!
We're still trying to figure out how we can live here permanently.

I am so blessed to work for Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
My amazing co-workers know how to work hard & play hard. We definitely worked hard to win this trip and sold a lot of Microsoft. While I spent most of the trip with my family... I did get a day with these peeps.

We went out on a 4 hour private catamaran snorkel.

We did some whale-watching, swam with giant sea turtles, seen lots of colorful fish and beautiful coral reef. My
first time on a catamaran!

We survived the road to Hana

highlights of the drive {So happy Jeremy is a great driver!}
This is considered the world's most beautiful drive.
Along this beautiful scenic drive is where you find waterfalls,
freshwater pools, bamboo and rain forest, hiking trails, and
endless lush tropical scenery.

The road twists and turns the entire 3 hours.
Constant beauty around every curve.
These pictures don't do justice.

Twin Falls

stopped at a fruit stand along the way
for fresh coconut. They thought they would love
the coconut milk, but after one drink they were done.

Waiokilo Falls
{{freezing cold water}}

Koki Beach

Bolly weaving baskets & hats using coconut leaves.
When we told him that we were from Arkansas, he yelled
GO Razorbacks!

Haleakala National Park
Andrew loves this place!
He loves climbing on the rocks, swimming
in the water falls & if he had a life vest, he
would have been jumping off cliffs.

Waianapanapa Black Sand Beach
We almost missed this & I am so happy we didn't!
This is the most beautiful place in the world!!
The sand is actually small, smooth, lava pebbles.
You can't tell from the pictures but the water is blue.
The black sand and crystal clear blue water is gorgeous!

Aloha for now!
We were greeted with a lei when we arrived to the island.
The locals told us if you throw your lei into the ocean before leaving then you are destined to return.

Celebrating Eight in Maui

You guys... my baby is eight today. That's right. E-I-G-H-T!!

And I am feeling All.The.Feelings. We love & adore him.

We are making his day unforgettable in Maui!

We started the day off in a submarine!

One disappointment, you can't see the
beautiful colors of the fish this deep.
The only way to see their true colors is to bring
football stadium lights and shine on them.

We sit on the bottom of the sea floor 125 ft.
Seen a sunken ship, lots of fish, Patrick the starfish &
4 shark!

Andrew thought it was the coolest thing ever!
The fish think the submarine is a large salad bar so they
go about life like normal.

Next was a helicopter tour!
We wanted to explored Maui on a whole nother level!
This is the only way to see the island.

Then we hung out behind the old Lahaina Courthouse.
The locals were selling art, crafts, fresh fruit and playing music.

Check out this Banyan Tree.
It's sixty feet and spreads out to cover over a two hundred foot area.

This girl was weaving coconut leaves into
Christmas ornaments.

Then it was back to the resort
for swimming and shirley temples.

XOXO
