Cheer Mom

We have been so busy lately with football and loving every minute of it! Adrianna is doing an AWESOME job cheering on the boys! Her cheer team got to perform a routine with the high school cheerleaders & they were so cute! I didn't get any shoots of that b/c Andrew was not on his best behavior! LOL When we left Adrianna said she wants to be a cheerleader in high school! I did get some pictures of the girls performing their dance @ a football game... GO APACHE CHEER TEAM!!

Cassandra & I went to Girls Night Out @ clear-channel metroplex. It was the first time in a while that we were able to spend time together. We had a fun night of shopping, eating, massages & getting tons of free stuff. We had so much fun... I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard!

This event was sponsored by Alice 107.7 {our fav radio station} so we got to see Heather & DC! Also, we seen performances from American Idol's Jason Castro, Safety Suit & Jessie James!

I wasn't very impressed with Jessie James orJason Castro BUT Safety Suit ROCKS! We were so close to the stage that we could nearly touch them. As they were walking off the stage the drummer threw me his drum stick!

Fruit Dip

there are a LOT of fruit dips out there, but this is my favorite.

ingredients:

2 pkgs cream cheese softened.

-if you need to soften the cream cheese, put it in a microwave safe dish, and pop it in for 30 seconds. it will be perfectly soft.

1 cup brown sugar

1 small package white chocolate pudding mix

16 ounces vanilla yogurt

mix all four ingredients together till smooth with no lumps. refrigerate till served.serve with fruit, best choice - strawberries & fuji apples.to keep your apples from turning brown, dip them quickly in lemon juice.

Magic Springs

We spent Sunday playing with my sister & her children. Andrew stayed with his grandparents {this would not be a fun place for him}

It started thundering and lighting as soon as we got there & the park shut down for an hour. We stuck it out and once the storm passed the weather was perfect and it wasn't crowded!

We played in the water park first since we were already soaked. We had lots of fun! It's a hard decision but I really think I like the water park more than the rides. Adrianna loved the water slides... especially the pitch black one!

After the water park we went to the rides. We rode everything there! Well the twins were the only ones brave enough to ride the hawk! LOL

We saved the best ride for last... The Arkansas Twister! It is even more fun riding it in the dark! There was no line so we rode it 4 or 5 times in a row! This was the perfect way to end the summer!

First Day of School...

Adrianna started school. She is LOVING 5th grade! She really likes that she gets to switch classes this year & she loves her homeroom teacher! It's a tradition on the first day of school, Adrianna has to get her picture made... It seems like only yesterday she was starting her first day in kindergarten!

On the way to school, Andrew was being so funny! I thought he would be sad that his sister was going back to school but he wasn't going to let it ruin his day? Ha Ha
