My Addiction

It’s funny, when I shop I only look for things that I can bring home and improve… It takes the fun out of it if it’s already perfect! This drives Jeremy crazy HA HA

My MIL and I were shopping at TJ Max and I found this candle stick for 3 bucks. I knew it would not match anything in my house which meant I would get to spray paint!!! I think something is wrong with me! Is there a name for this disorder?

Spray Paint is a wonderful thing. Look how beautiful it turned out. It makes me smile everytime I look at it! LOL

Summer Garden…

Equals LOTS of work! Check out the loot from Jeremy’s garden.

Even though I can’t take any credit for planting the garden, Adrianna and I helped pick all this.

Ever year, my mother & Jeremy can tons of salsa. She can make the best salsa! It's far better than any I have ever tasted. {I am a little biased} Adrianna helped out this year. She is the BEST helper! She chopped, blended and peeled. She made sure every tomato she cut was the same size. She is a little perfectionist just like her daddy! Ha Ha

We canned 20 quarts of salsa, 9 quarts of Cayenne peppers, 2 quarts of pickles, 7 quarts of pickled peppers, 9 bags of squash and 7 bags of peas. And look what we picked today...

I have been waiting all summer for the watermelons! ;)

The perfect 4th of July

I love how the holiday landed on a Sunday this year, so the festivities were spread across three days!

It started Saturday morning with a pancake breakfast and softball game at the Old Post Park. My friend Marisa invited us… It was so much FUN!

The boy scouts raised the flag before breakfast.

The 12-18 year old girls played against the “older” women. Funny how I fall in the older women category now days LOL we lost
{We were robbed the pitcher was cheating!}

Adrianna played water softball. The 1st 2nd and 3rd bases were swimming pools and to get home you had to slide down the slipping slide. She loved it! Andrew was being a little monster {which explains the lack of pics} Jeremy had to take him home.

Just look at those eyes... he was not in a good mood! LOL

Saturday night,we grilled burgers at home and played with the kids. Adrianna made these red, white & blue strawberries...

Sunday, we went to the Arkansas River & watched fireworks from the boat. It was Spectacular! This was the first year that Andrew enjoyed the firework show. He LOVED them! He sat on his daddy’s lap and watched the entire show. It was much more fun watching them from the boat and not having to fight the crowd.

I hope everyone had a Wonderful 4th!

Anna is back…

She went on her 1st trip {all by herself} to Arlington, Texas with her BFF Brittany. She was gone for an entire week. They went to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor nearly every day & she went to her first major league baseball game at Rangers ballpark. She watched a firework show and glow in the dark parade. She had the BEST time! I asked her to take lots of pic but this is all I got… She told me she didn’t want to lose her camera so she didn’t take it too many places. Silly girl
I think Scrappy liked Anna! Ha Ha

It’s GREAT having both my kids home! I LOVE them soooo much!!
