Hoppy Easter

We originally had our weekend jam packed with events but my niece got admitted to Children’s Hospital {She has staff in her bloodstream} she is still not in the clear… please send a prayer up for her. On top of that Adrianna had a HUGE school project due Monday so it ended up being very low key this year.

On Saturday night, we went to the Easter drama with my daddy @ Plainview Jesus Name Church. It was AMAZING as always! I love that Andrew came with us this year. He sat in my lap throughout most of the drama and was really getting into it. After each scene he would clap his little hands. I just soaked up the moment!

When we got home, we realized that the Easter Bunny came early & left eggs all over the front lawn… The kids had to use flash lights to find them! Andrew was so sleepy that he only picked up two eggs but Adrianna had a BLAST! She was outside looking for eggs forever. {none of the pictures turned out... too dark}

 Adrianna spent most of Easter morning hiding eggs for Andrew. Once he found them he would run in the house so she could hide them again. He even hid them for her a couple times!

On Sunday, we finally got around to dyeing our Easter Eggs.
{Yes, I am a procrastinator & Adrianna gets it from me}

Easter Crafts...

For the first time this week, I was able to come straight home from work. I didn’t have to take Adrianna to any practices, I didn’t have to run any errands for Jeremy & I didn’t have to go to my exercise class. My whole night was FREE {which doesn’t happen very often} so I decided it would be a fun, crafty night.

Andrew’s class is having their Easter party tomorrow so in lieu of candy we made everyone in his class an Easter Bunny. I found the kit @ Hancock Fabrics a few weeks ago for 70% off.
They turned out super cute… I love all the glitter! Andrew put together about 6 bunnies and then he was ready to get down and play. ;)

I had planned on dying eggs too but didn't have the time or energy... We'll save that for tomorrow night.

Getting crafty with my babies...

Andrew is so proud of his work!

Happy Birthday Anna

Adrianna, you were our first miracle. You were the genesis of a marriage, the fulfillment of young love, the promise of our infinity ~ you sustained us through the hamburger years... the first house furnished in "Early Proverty"... our first mode of transporation {our feet}... the 19 inch tv set with rabbit ears.

You were the new, had unused grandparents and had more clothes than a Barbie doll. You were the "original model" for unsure parents trying to work the bugs out. You were the beginnning.

Daddy & I can't believe you're already 12... you're growing up too fast! We {heart} you!

cheers to12 years

Adrianna celebrated pre-teen style for her 12th birthday...

The invitations-

 I ordered the movie ticket invites from here they have a huge selection of unique invitations

The cake-

My talented friend from high school made the cake & ADORABLE popcorn cupcakes.
I told her what I wanted and she far exceeded my expectations! If you live in the Conway/Little Rock area, you should definely contact her for your next party. sam.clement@hotmail.com {tell her Jamie refered you}

Candy buffets are the craze now... I thought it would be fun to have a popcorn buffet.
You can't have a movie party without popcorn - right? I found the best popcorn @ Walmart. The brand is  World Table & it's Chocolate Nut Crunch. IT IS WONDERFUL!

The party favors

Andrew wanted to help Anna blow out the candles. He was loving the party just as much as Anna!

 The  Movie-

We watched Soul Surfer - Bethani Hamilton is so inspiring and incrediable brave!
Me & the girls sat and cried through the whole movie.... It was a beautiful message for them to see.

Sprinkle of Randomness

WARNING: There is NO rhyme or reason for this post!
Seriously, now that that is out of the way, let's get down to some randomness...

The Wells House has been CRAZY this month but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have been planning Adrianna’s 12th birthday party. She wants a Movie Party this year and it has been FUN coming up with ideas. I LOVE planning my kid’s birthday parties! Can't wait to post LOTS of pictures.

******
A couple months ago, we were driving to the farm & half way there one of the kids had to use the bathroom. There are no gas stations so we had to stop at Nimrod Park{keep in mind Hollis, Arkansas is in the middle of nowhere}As we were driving in the park, I spotted a vintage telephone booth. It was just sitting there in the middle of a park, surrounded by trees. Adrianna had a friend with her and neither of them had ever seen a telephone booth before! I had to take the kids back and get some pictures!

I had to post this picture... Andrew Hayden is a mess!
We really never know what he is going to do next...He keeps up laughing that's for sure.
Last night @ dinner he informed us he has a girlfriend. I almost choked. Adrianna NEVER talks about boys. Andrew is another story... He is always talking about going on dates. He said "Mom, me & my girlfriend are going on a date. I am going to take her to the creek so we can throw rocks in the water and I need your truck!" =)

Field Trip to Arkansas State Capital

Adrianna has been looking forward to this trip for a long time {it was postponed due to the snow}
This was her first "Real" field trip. She had to dress business formal which meant a shopping trip!
She loved touring the capital, thought it was BEAUTIFUL and took a ton of pictures. I will not post them all {I promise}
