He's a BIG kid now!

Drum-Roll puh-leez....

 ANDREW IS POTTY TRAINED

It was not an easy process, but it was partly my fault. I really didn't want my baby to be potty trained.

But it was time & we can save so much money now that we don't have to buy diapers.

while Andrew has been potty training we have been coaxing him,

 "as soon as you can always go potty like a big boy, you'll get to go to a BIG boy class!"

and every time he hears this, he gets big eyes filled with excitement...

His teacher told us on Friday, that he was ready.. Today he started his BIG boy class!

 

I asked him how his first day went & he said "He LOVES it!

I think he is a little proud that he was the first one in his class to move up.

I am sad that he is growing up so fast but he will always be my baby!

Here's a little bit more about me:

 

1. Where do you usually have your thermostat set at in the winter?

Jeremy & I had to compromise… we leave the thermostat on 75 degrees. I am cold natured & would love to have it set to 85 degrees but it’s fun to cuddle on the couch!

 

2. What room do you tend to put off cleaning until last?

I always leave the kids rooms until last…  I can’t just clean them, I want to purge. {they have too much stuff} All the toys overwhelm me! 

 

3. Do you like to clean with music on or off?

I always clean with music!  It not only motivates me but it gets the children motivated to help. {The kids laugh at my dance moves} It’s more fun when we can giggle and act silly while cleaning!!

 

4. When do you take time to blog?

I usually blog at night right before bed.

 

5. How much time do you spend looking at other blogs a week? 

Way too much! I {HEART} looking at blogs for ideas, inspiration, motivation, recipes, etc.

Crafty Weekend

Adrianna's basketball team has been playing in a tournament all weekend in Lamar. They beat Atkins Friday night and Perryville Saturday night which means next Saturday they play against Bigelow for the 1st place trophy!! Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any pictures {I will next weekend} It’s hard to remember when you have a CUTE little boy with you. Adrianna's friends all want to hold him and take him to the concession stand. He keeps everyone around us entertained & LOVES the attention!

Between ball games, the kids were able to finish their Valentine cards & made a gift for their teacher. I bought these mailboxes at Target for $1 and the stickers & ribbon from Hobby Lobby 40% off. They filled them with chocolate candy. I think they turned out cute and were super cheap!

Andrew can't wait to give Miss Tosha her gift!!



Adrianna & I have been working this scarf for nearly two weeks!! We found the tutorial @ Bubbly Nature Creations   It was very time consuming & tedious.  I wish it were longer but neither one of us wanted to make another pom pom!

More Snow...

... It's been snowing like crazy ALL day in Russellville! Last time we measured there was 6 inches.

Adrianna & Andrew are both out of school until Monday. Jeremy's office is closed until at least Friday & I am working from home this week. {bummer, I am the only one that has to work}

Jeremy & the kids have been outside ALL day!

On my lunch break, I made them Snow Ice Cream & Hot Chocolate

Then Jeremy, Adrianna, Brittney and Mikey went snow sledding.

They had a blast, there were close to hundred people at the Old Post Park sledding/tubing today!

After work, they came back & picked up Andrew & I.

So we could have a little fun too! I never heard Andrew giggle so hard until today.

He keep saying "Mom, lets go one more time!"

There's nothing better than being snowed in with my wonderful family!

Superbowl Party!

Even though…

The Philadelphia Eagles didn’t make it to the super bowl...

Christina Aguilera messed up the ‘National Anthem’ …

The half time show was horrible …

We had plenty of yummy food and great company while watching the game @ the Heflin's

I always like watching the commercials, this year they had some hilarious ones.

It was a good game!

Everyone was happy that the underdogs won.

 I have to brag... Jeremy put together this party tray!!! It looks beautiful! I know I say this ALL the time but he is a Perfectionist... I am so jealous.



I brought these awesome 'football cupcakes {@ Wal*Mart} Barbara & Scott made everything else. It was delicious! The hog wild dip was TO DIE FOR

Snow Tubing...

We woke up this morning and still had a TON of snow. We had to get out and play in it! We went tubing at Jeremy's office and had an absolute blast!

We even took Andrew with us and he LOVED it!

LOVIN the snow

Last weekend, we were teased with beautiful 70 degree weather. The kids wore shorts, rode bikes and played horse shoes. {I even grilled} Today it's snowing!

Arkansas weather is so unpredictable.

But I am not complaining... I got to work from home in my PJ's all day and both my babies were home with me!
