Spring Fever

It’s that time of year again...

"SPRING FEVER"

we are being teased with beautiful sunny days where the kids our out playing with friends, riding bikes, playing basketball and loving it...and then the next day it's cold.

Arkansas spring is always unpredictable.

We’ve had a crazy fun weekend… visiting with family, having friends over for dinner, going to the park and hiking Devil’s Den trail. I didn't want it to end!

I wasn't excepting to find these beautiful waterfalls. The park ranger told us that we would find lots of rock structures and caves. Lucky we forgot to bring our flashlights so we couldn't go inside the caves. ;) I have a huge fear of caves and bats! He never mentioned there were twin waterfalls!!! If I would have know I would have saved my battery.... I was only able to get these 2 pics.

Adrianna loved this trail! She told me that her and Jeremy were coming back without me and Andrew to explore the caves. Maybe next time we come back they can go in the caves and Andrew and I will stay at the pool :)

The trail was almost 2 miles and Andrew hiked over half way by himself. He even climbed up on top of rocks! I was impressed how well he did. I love that he is my little adventurous guy!

Top O the morning to you...

Happy St. Patrick’s Day… May your day be filled with lots of Good Luck!

The leprechauns visited our house last night. We woke up and found gold & silver coins all over the counter and lots of treats. Adrianna had “Green” milk with her breakfast. She was a little hesitant to drink it at first. There is NO way Andrew will drink “Green” milk he doesn’t even like chocolate milk. Hmmm maybe next year he’ll be more into it! :)

Parents Vs. 5th graders

Coach Hatti planned the best end of season basketball party ever! The girls got to play against their parents…. 5 on 5 and full court… most of us had not been on a basketball court in years. Jeremy was out of town so my mother went with us & she got in on the action. She played awesome! She could stay up with the girls better than most parents.

We didn't keep score which is a good thing because we were getting beat really bad. In our defense the girls have been practicing 5 months, they are the best in the district... they did bring home 1st place gold metals. We didn't have a chance ;)

Adrianna & Bailey

Andrew our lil parrot...

He repeats EVERYTHING we say! He has started really trying to talk this past month & can make complete sentences. He talks about tractors and trucks. He is infatuated with them!

He really likes tattling. At least once a day, he runs out of his sister's room crying and yelling “sissy is mean to the baby!” He has even tattled on me & his daddy a few times! LOL
It’s funny he refers to himself as the baby. He will not say Andrew… When I ask him his name he says “Baby”

Andrew is a typical boy he can’t say the L word… Jeremy, Adrianna and I have tried a million times to get him to say it but he refuses. It makes him mad if we even ask him to say it. Last week, we had been playing outside all day and just came in. I layed on the couch by Jeremy. Andrew walked over and started patting my head and playing with my hair and it slipped out “I LOVE YOU MOMMY!”

The Perfect Day

The weather was perfect Saturday, Jeremy and Andrew had plans for the day so it was the perfect opportunity for Adrianna and I to go hiking on Petit Jean Mtn & it was beautiful! It's one of my favorite places because it is so close and so pretty. I been to the Cedar falls overlook many times but I have never hiked down to the waterfall before. It was breathtaking! I am READY to go back again ;)I made this collage using Picasa 3 A friend told me about this free software... its cool!
We drove past the Gorilla rock & Adrianna thought it was amazing! She made me pull over so she could take a picture. Also, we went inside the rock water tower. It looked a lot bigger from the outside.

The spectacular 95-foot waterfall

Adrianna & I wanted a closer look so we hiked down to the bottom

Check out these guys... now thats about as close as you can get!

I tried to get under the waterfall too but didn't quite make it... I am such a clutz!

Here is a mini waterfall we found along the trail.
It's BEAUTIFUL here in Arkansas!
