Some time around 4am, this little sugar gets in our bed almost every morning...

*****
He doesn't start out sleeping sideways...

in fact, he doesn't start out in our bed!

he goes to sleep in his bed, wakes up around 3am and gets in our bed...

then he manages to flip himself around and end up in this position

almost every morning.

we love his snuggles. the sweet yummy smell of his hair. his giggles as he is waking up and we tickle him...

but we do not like those feet, those feet that end up by our head...

kicking us. in the back. in the head. the back again.

there is a definite give and take to loving the kid-snuggles and loving a kid-free bed!

we wouldn't trade either, for anything.

Adrianna's Slumber Par-tay

I thought it would be FUN for Adrianna to have a SLUMBER Party this weekend {just because}
She has been studying so hard & hasn't hung out with her friends outside of school since summer break.

Four friends. A whole night of endless fun. A lot of crazy laughter.

Adrianna making a silly face at Brittney

These girls {Heart} basketball... they played from the time they got home until 11:30 PM
Jeremy & I even played a little basketball with them.

Not sure who had more fun... Andrew or Adrianna!
You can't have a party without music.... Andrew was the DJ
(I am sure the neighbors love us)

Adrianna has a great group of girlfriends, I'm happy to say.
Some of which didn't get to make it out with us.
Next time girls!!

B E W A R E...

Lots of Halloween and Fall posts will be coming so watch out!!

I love October!

Halloween parties, costumes, treats, fall leaves, fall biking, football, cooking with pumpkins, baking fun and ghoulish treats, etc, etc, etc, it literally is

my favorite time of year!!!!
Every year, I surprise my kids on October 1st, with the house decorated for Halloween and fun treats. I LOVE the excitement on their faces when they walk in from school to find all the decorations!

I finally got to plug in my pumpkin patch scents from Bath & Body... the house smells so yummy! ;)

Andrew loved this and was totally surprised!

I purchased the black spiderweb felt placemats and silver bangle napkin rings from Pier 1.  The skeleton head came from the dollar tree {love that store}  I can't wait to make a spooky Halloween dinner!

Happy October!

Happy Labor Day!

Happy Labor Day!
I hope you all spent the day with friends, family, loved ones and that your entire day was beautiful!
The weather was perfect in Arkansas so I decided to do exactly what I did last year Here take pictures of my babies! {Warning Picture Overload}
It's amazing how much they have changed in just one year...

I am in the market for a new camera and would love some suggestions... my Kodak is 7 years old {yes, time to upgrade!} It was my first digital camera & is sooo slow.

Enjoying Time with my Family...

Enjoying the looooong weekend with my babies... APACHE football, Pile High yogurt, sleeping in late and eating lots of junk food. Times like these make me wish I was a stay at home mother.

We watched the Smurf Movie -- it was smurfy!
Andrew & the girls giggled through the whole movie. There was a kissing scene and Andrew blurted out "NO WAY" everyone in the theater died laughing!

I was a HUGE fan of the cartoon when I was a little girl {back when Saturday mornings were the only time you could watch cartoons} I would get up early & try not to wake up my parents... have me a bowl of cereal and watch cartoons until noon. It took me back to the good ole days!

Happy Labor Day!

Is Summer over yet?

I know, it's still summer and I am rushing a little BUT I am so ready for Fall and all that it brings...

the rain, the leaves turning color, RAZORBACK football, hayrides, festivals, Halloween, baking yummy desserts & breads with pumpkin in them, mmmmm....

I can't wait for Deer Season, bonfires, smores, hot cocoa, cool  weather, cozy sweaters, scarves and boots. I absolutely LOVE Fall!

While I still have to wait a few more weeks... I am getting prepared. I found lots of fun FALL ideas on Pinterest.
Below are some that I found recently and adore!
