2010 Arkansas Heart Walk

Last Saturday was the 2010 Arkansas Walk

It was cold at first but ended up being a perfect day to walk outside! It was so much fun to see all the people out supporting this cause.

Lake DeGray

One of Jeremy's goals for work is to visit all 52 state parks. We thought we would make it fun and take a picture in front of every state park sign that we visit. One down and 51 to go...

DeGray Lake Resort State Park is beautiful, secluded & the lake is crystal clear. It even has a 18-hole, public PGA championship-rated golf course. We had Andrew so we didn't play... We did hike the Island Trail which went right along the lakeshore.

Andrew made us stop so he could throw rocks in the water so we decided to take a few pics

Adrianna's 11th Birthday Party!

Adrianna is 11 years old today! Here are some photos from her Spa birthday party that she had on Saturday…... Counting Adrianna there were 5 girls in all who were at the party & spent the night.

Jeremy & Andrew decided to go away for the weekend so it was just us girls. ;)

Other than some chocolate stains & a few accidents decorating I survived and the party was a BLAST!

Gotta love the HOT pink zebra cake

The girls arrived at the party wearing their PJ's. I set up several stations. The first was hair... My super talented cousin Nicole is attending Beauty College and offered to come over and help me with this.

While the girls waited to get their hair rolled, they read magazines, listened to music, danced & acted silly! They shared some really juicy gossip.

(I was amazed at some of their conversations) There was lots of talk about boys especially on boy in particular Justin Bieber!

The chocolate fountain was a hit. They loved it!

I think they dipped EVERYTHING in it even the birthday cake. HA HA

Next was facials.... seaweed scrub masque and cucumber slices.

This picture is classic. I needed to document this so one day I can possibly use it for blackmail! ;)

Then it was Pedicures & Manicures... To go with the theme Nicole let them choice a color and added zebra stripes!

Lastly, Nicole styled the girls hair and they looked beautiful!

Look at this hair. Nicole totally inspired me and Adrianna to do another pageant!

Gift time! My best friend Dana made Adrianna this beautiful Zebra cork board.

Check out the reaction on their faces..... priceless. They were all in shock when they found out Kris Allen autographed her CD case!! THANK YOU SHANNA!!

At about 10:30 I realized I didn't have anything to wrap up the cake with so I had to take a trip to Wal-Mart. Which was okay with the girls since they were hyped up on chocolate and all dressed up! We piled in the 4 runner PJs and all.

After we got back they watched movies and made hair holders. I don't think they went to bed until after 2 and we had to be at church at 10... Somehow I managed to make breakfast, get myself and 5 girls ready and wasn't late.

Help for Haiti

Way to go Pottsville 5th Graders!!!

Adrianna's 5th grade class collected over $1000 for Haiti. KARK 4 recognized them tonight on tv. Its amazing how much love they have shown for the Haitian people. They are so young yet so passionate. They make me proud!

Happy Easter

We had another wonderful Easter. I am so grateful for my healthy beautiful little family and for the Atoning Sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ!

Saturday, we went to my sister's house. It was fantastic to visit with my family. I am always working and hardly ever get to see them... I cherish every moment that I get to spend with them!

On Sunday, we woke up & found eggs all over the house... The Easter bunny had visited. He filled Adrianna & Andrew's Easter baskets full of candy and toys. Adrianna was so egg-cited to find "New Moon" in her basket. She watched it on the way to church! ;)

The Easter Egg hunt was wild so I didn't get to take many pics. Adrianna & Andrew were hunting on different sides of the church so I helped Andrew while Jeremy stayed with Adrianna.

Oh, he is soooo Jeremy’s son!

He loves to arrange things by size or sort them by color. Looks like he will be a perfectionist like his daddy & sister. From the time Adrianna was tiny, she has had to have things neat and tidy.

He was concentrating so hard. Ha Ha
It makes me smile every time to see his big grin, just bursting with pride and accomplishment.

Easter Eggs...

It’s always a mess, but oh so fun! This is where I wish I was more creative. Adrianna loves decorating Easter eggs! Her friend Brittany was over so she got in on the fun too!

These girls are soo much fun!

and Andrew, well he was just a disaster, tipping colors over, and dropping the eggs... After we gave him what he wanted then he was a happy lil bunny!
