We’re all trying to recover from the holidays… We have finally taken down all the Christmas decorations, packed them back in the attic & got rid of all the Christmas candy. Too bad, it can’t stay Christmas time forever… I have enjoyed staying home with my family, wearing PJ’s all day long, baking cookies, making crafts, and just being together. It was really hard for all of us to go back to school/work.

It’s January 15th and I am finally working on my list of new-year’s-resolutions.
I am hoping if I list them on my blog that I may actually follow through with them :)
I have BIG plans for twenty eleven…
• I want to be in the best shape of my life, at the end of 2011. {I would really like to be by July 5th as that is my 30th birthday!} I really wanna rock the whole 30-thing.
• Simplify, meaning less is more. {I started watching Peter Walsh on OWN and he has really inspired me} I have already started purging my house. I am going through every closet, drawer, and cabinet & if I don’t need it then it’s going out.
• I want to help Adrianna find her passion… {Especially since she is going into Jr High next year} I gave her the opportunity in grade school to play whatever sport she wanted…. Now, it’s time to find out what she really LOVES & start focusing and improving on it.
• I want Andrew to be FULLY potty train, at the end of 2011. He goes to the potty at Daycare and even wears big boy underwear for them but at home he refuses! {The biggest problem - he is the baby of the house & knows he can get away anything.}
• No More Sugar. probably the hardest for me because I would prefer eating candy over anything else & I usually have about 2 sodas a day... I am addicted! This is one thing I must follow through with because diabetes runs in my family. By 2011, I hope to be completely off sodas and only eat sugar on special occasions.
This week I am going to have Adrianna write down her goals with me so we can talk about how important it is to set goals for yourself and to obtain those goals. Sometimes it's not always easy but you have to set your mind to it and push yourself.

Cheers to 2011!
