Summer Time Fun

Andrew went on his first trip to the park! He LOVED it!! He loves to explore. He had to touch and feel everything. He thought every new sound he heard was amazing. It was sweet watching him see new things for the first time!

He went down the BIG slide all by himself. He is so brave!

Adrianna had a great time teaching him how its done!

Hog Wild

Since Adrianna worked so hard @ cheer camp we took her & Andrew to Hog Wild for pizza & games! Adrianna spent most of her time playing deal or no deal! Of course she had to play a game of air hockey with her daddy and she kicked his butt! LOL Andrew loves to DRIVE and kept going back and forth from the helicopter to the race car. He couldn't decide which one he liked the best!

Hello Daddy,

Happy Father's Day! I want to tell you how much I love you.
I love when you take me fishing & we get to ride in the boat. I love when you take me hunting with you... even though I complain sometimes this are the best memories. You always push me to be my very best no matter what I am doing. You give me confidence. You teach me how to work hard & do things right the first time. You are my hero. I want to grow up to be just like you!!

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

Since I'm too little to type you a letter, Mommy is writing all the things I would say, if I could! It is so fun to be with you and play with you, no matter what we are doing. Thanks for always being so patient with me, even when I try to snatch your phone or the remote so I can push all the buttons... I am just like you... I love to figure out how things work! And even though I pull everything out of every cabinet and closet, it's just so I can see it all for myself... just like you! I feel safe whenever I am in your arms and daring and adventurous enough to try scary, new things for the first time. I am such a cheerful, friendly, happy little person and I love spending time together with you. Thanks for loving me like crazy and for being such a fun Dad!

I hope you know, by now, how very blessed I feel to have you in my life. You have truly made my dreams come true. I am so lucky to be a part of the life we have built together. You are a wonderful man, an incredible husband and a fabulous dad! We are so blessed that you take care of us and those we love, in every way. You take such pride in your family & work. I don't know how I got so lucky... you certainly do more than your fair share of things around the house!
(Not many of my friends have husbands who often cooks, cleans, or changes diapers... Most of them don't even remember to lower the stinkin' seat!). You're the greatest!!

Fishing

Oh man, was today just perfect weather for boating or what?
We decided to spend the day on Lake Ouachita. Jeremy & Matt ran trott lines while Adrianna, Jimmy, & I rode in the boat and watched.

seriously.

lets see, a few months ago, I was good for two weeks solid. really good.

then Valentine's Day came.

then easter came.

then Adrianna's birthday came.

these one-day events all turned into DAYS and DAYS of eating SUGAR! because you know, this is an addiction we are talking about. when I indulge just a little, the fact is, i then indulge a LOT.

{sigh}

today, I start again....no sugar, for this girl. seriously.
