Happy ♥ Day

Valentine's Day is special to me because it's mine and Jeremy's anniversary.

15 years ago I made the BEST decision of my life... I married my best friend and now we have two beautiful ginger babies that I love with all my heart! I am beyond blessed

 

I am not going to sugar coat it - it was hard getting into the holidays this year

 with all the raw emotions & everyone trying to cope. However, I knew it was my job to make things as normal as possible for the kids. They had been through enough sadness. I helped get their mind off everything with a project! We wanted to make Valentine's Day extra special for the grandparents so we made them ♥ attacks.

Adrianna and Andrew decorated small boxes with pink and red scrapbook paper.

Glued a big heart on the front, put their valentine picture inside and then filled the boxes full of hearts {all different sizes}. They used zebra print duct tape to close the top of the box. The plan was to mail the ♥ attacks but we thought it would be less expensive & more fun to drop them off outside their house.

They were a huge success and made everyone feel very loved!

Andrew attended his first Valentine's Day Ball.

They had fancy snacks and dancing.

Mrs. Barton taught the boys how to be little gentlman

and how to slow dance! He came home and asked me to dance

with him so he could show me his new moves... I just love him!

 I took these pictures a few weeks ago when my nephew spent the night. He thought I was crazy making him pose this way! I edited them in PicMonkey and added chocolate lips - they were PRESH! 

Valentine's Day is also the day I married Jeremy!

We celebrated our 14th Anniversary hanging out with the kids. He made a yummy dinner, we snuggled on the couch and watched a movie. It was a beautiful day!

road trip...

Love a quick-road-trippin’-beautiful- three day weekend.

Jeremy & I hit the road to Lake DeGray, an anniversary getaway {no kids} we worried about them the entire time even though we knew they were in good hands with Meme Trisha.

we finally relaxed, slept, ate good food, watched movies, talked ALOT and repeat...

If you go to Lake DeGray you must have breakfast at Shoreline Restaurant   there is nothing better than the love of your life, french vanilla coffee & beautiful scenery!
