ADRIANNA'S BIRTHDAY

This year Adrianna wanted to take a mother/daughter trip on her birthday rather than having a party. So the two of us and our good friends Debbie and Mallory went to Branson for the weekend! It was a quick trip but we had a blast! We went shopping, visited the titanic museum, played in the pool, and went shopping some more! What else could a girl ask for?!?

When we got back home Adrianna walked in her room and found this....

Adrianna & Andrew jumped on the bed for 15 mins. before they noticed this hid under the covers! Adrianna has been wanted a BB gun forever. I finally broke down and let Jeremy buy one for her. I just made her promise to be extremely careful with it...

You are such an easy girl to love! How can anyone not just adore you?

Daddy and I can't help but smile when we see you or hear your contagious little giggle!

I can always count on you to be helpful and obedient, even though there might be something else you'd rather be doing. I love it that you are always the first to volunteer!

It breaks my heart to see you sad or disappointed, because you are such a content and grateful person and never want to hurt anyone else or make them feel bad.

We love that you are so thoughtful and intuitive about the feelings of others.

I see you serving and doing kind things for others every day, even without being asked.

You are selfless by nature and always willing to sacrifice for others, especially those you love.

You are a great friend and a wonderful, devoted Sister. I admire that you love Andrew so much and take such good care of him. You are sweet and patient with him.

As you grow, we are continually amazed at how capable you are. You are just like your Daddy... new things come easily and naturally for you.

Easter Sunday

We had such a wonderful Easter. I am so grateful for my healthy beautiful little family and for the Atoning Sacrifice of our Savior so that we can repent and be worthy to live together as an Eternal family.

We went to Jeremy's home Church. I looked at our little row and couldn't stop smiling at my sweet family. They make me Truly happy. Today was just perfect!

The kids woke up to find thier Easter baskets filled with toys & candy. Adrianna got the DS game she has been wanted forever... She was really excited! I wanted to take some pic but by the time i found my camera they had everything pulled out & were eating candy. LOL

Sparkly Easter Eggs...

Its a lot more fun now that Adrianna is older. We normally do the traditional colored eggs however this year Adrianna wanted to add a little bling to her eggs. I gave her the glitter and let her get creative! It was very messy but some much fun!

Cheap, Cheap, Craft Idea...

So Adrianna & I made Brownies on Saturday. I ended up with 3 empty eggshells... Adrianna was bored... Noone was around to play with... Daddy was busy working on the computer, so I thought, "Hmmm... what could we make with these?" A stroke of inspiration and a quick run to the Craft box and... Wah-lah!

Easter Chicks!

We rinsed the eggshells and glued in a pom-pom, cut a little beak from construction paper glued it on, and glued on some goofy google eyes! Simple as that! Kept her busy (and happy!) for about 20 minutes and the clean up was a breeze!

Now, if I were REALLY creative, or had thought/planned ahead at all, I would have gotten a cute basket or egg crate or something to display them in, instead of plain old paper plate.

The Cadbury creme egg is my all time favorite candy ever!!! Have you ever tried these things? Oh they are delicious! I can't wait until Easter time comes... I can devour these things. mmmm
